"It's given them time to match-up man-to-man..."

What a wonderful week! I just love. Love, LOVE everyone who made it so special! :D

So it started Monday 11/30 with Joe and I going to Geoffrey's Malibu for dinner. We had delicious Ahi Tuna Tartar, Moroccan Shrimp, Mussels, Day-Boat Scallops with foie-gras risotto, petit filet with potato and mushroom risotto with a bordelaise sauce, a bit of brioche bread pudding with bourbon caramel sauce, Joe had two glasses of wine, I had a raspberry lemon drop martini and a spicy bloody mary. It was so delicious and just great to celebrate our bdays!

Then Tuesday (12/1-my 25th), I went to Disneyland with my good friend from MSU, Blair. She and I had the best time! We rode the rides, took way too many pictures, and acted just like the little 8 year olds we are! It was too fantastic for words. My parents also sent me 25 pink roses! My dad bought my mom pink roses when I was born (since I was their first girl) and they wanted to buy me some to mark my 25th. Wasn't that the sweetest?! They're so gorgeous too! It was a fabulous day and so many people called to help make it more special. And as silly as it sounds it was so lovely for people to leave me lil FB messages too! Just so much love, it means so much to me!

Wednesday: I worked and then Joe made some stuffed mushroom appetizers and we headed over to a surprise party for a friend. We all had an amazing time eating, hanging out, and enjoying "Las Vegas" in LA. It was a great time and Joe got a little tipsy and made for a ridiculous ride home :)

Thursday: I went to physical therapy, acupuncture, and worked on my screen play with my new writing partner. We are making progress and I really think this disastrous thing that happened to me will make a hilarious movie that loads of ladies will be able to relate to. Then Joe and I ran up to Hollywood Blvd. to buy some costume pieces for him for our Prohibition themed Birthday party that night. We dashed home, got all glammed up, and headed over to Winstons in WeHo. So many people came out and got all dressed up with us. It was amazing and so much fun! Everyone just made our night so memorable and perfect! And then we headed over to Astroburger and munched down delicious veggie burgers :P

Friday: I stayed in bed watching Glee and soap operas til 2 and then went to work. Then Joe and I went to our friend's going away party. She's moving home to Georgia on the 10th. We're SO sad but it was nice to go out and hang out with her.

Saturday (12/5) was Joe's birthday! He is 27, such an old man! haha. We just bummed around in bed til 1:30 then made bagels and lox and cream cheese. Then we went to a friend's place and hung out for a few hours while she made a bday cake. She got us an ice cream maker for our bdays!! Isn't that the best gift ever?! Then we went to The Grove and shopped around there and The Farmers Market. Then we went to sushi for some late lunch. We rushed home and I got ready to go to a play with a friend and he did math. The play was HORRIBLE. Just very typical LA theatre-crap. It's so sad too. Just so many of them out here don't understand acting for theatre and how it is a VERY different approach than acting for film. It just motivated us to mount our own production of something. :) Then I came home and Joe and I snuggled in for some dessert and watching the movie Fallen.

Today has been pretty lazy too, I was sent home early from work, we're snuggled up in bed watching football, and then we're eating breakfast for dinner with our good friends the Ryersons. All in all it's been an AMAZING week. Such great food, drinks, parties, and most importantly friends and family! We are just so lucky to have so many people who love us and care about us as much as our friends and family do. They mean so much!

Hopefully this next week will continue to be just as amazing, although I don't know how it stands a chance ;0) Hope your week was just as amazing as mine!

"Is it peas?! I feel sorry for the news caster, y'know. We can turn it off but that's their job..."

Ah good old Ellen comedy specials on HBO, just finished watching Janeane Garofalo too. So delightful.

I made it through the DMV in 2 hours today! Are you shocked? Me too, especially after the last trip that took me 6.5 hours and accomplished nothing. Although my lady was a BITCH. It was just sad. I mean everyone hates going to the DMV but I really try to stay positive and friendly there because I know that they hate their jobs. So I try to make it easier for them and smile and be nice but this woman was just rude and mean and angry. I did not enjoy her. And I was asking appropriate questions that had to do with my registration for the state of CA but she her attitude was heinous. Meh. What can you do? I still said thank you and smiled anyway. Take a little Midwest in your face beeeyotch! :)

So it was a pretty busy week last week. Work, Physical therapy, 2 days on set! That's right I was on-set for the season 2 finale of Party Down on Starz. So I chatted it up with Jane Lynch, Ken Marino, Michael Hitchcock, Megan Mullally. It was a good time. I made money and had a great time. It killed my back though. Damn standing on cement for 16 hours. Oy vey!

Also we puppy-sat for Kari's pits this weekend. They are so sweet! Snuggling with two big old pitbull girls at night is fun and hilarious. Then getting stood on top of at 7am is delightful. I really want to get my own puppy. Joe and I NEED a beagle puppy. NEED ONE! Okay, maybe I need the dog and Joe would be okay with it. But I really do need a little puppy to love and snuggle. *sigh* Puppies...

It was my good friend's b-day last night and her party is getting me geared up for mine next week. I am so excited to have a Prohibition themed party. It will be such a blast. I am sad that some people I thought would attend are not going to. Whatever. I am going to be happy and thankful for those who can. It's a celebration bitches! :D

Today was busy for me too. Started by going to PT and she didn't answer my calls or texts or knocking on her door. I have no idea what happened to her. So I waited 30 minutes and then left. I went to the bar where my office is to pick up documents. Ran to deposit my 3 checks. Ran to the other bar to drop off the docs from the first. Ran home to grab my car papers for the DMV. DMV. Then to Bevmo to pick up Jenn's b-day Framboise. Then back home to finish making Jenn's b-day coupons.

These coupons have reminded me how lovely it is to play with construction paper, crayola markers, and crayons. I love it! I am still such a little kid. I love playing with anything by Crayola and Sharpie. So delightful.

I'm am LOVING this Ellen special all over again. And it just keeps reminding me of watching it the first time with Benny. So good. Okay all, gear up for Thanksgiving and have a good holiday! I know we will. I work in the morning and then dinner and then Christmas movies!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!! :D

"They steal my life, they steal my beauty pageant!"

So basically nothing too new to report.

SUPER broke.
Cutting down on physical therapy since I can't afford it.
Hanging out with good friends (Kari, JOHN!, Jenn, etc.).
Planning on writing my genius movie script based on a horrible experience I recently had. John is going to help me so it will be really funny!
Working. Trying to make money because, again, I'm SUPER broke.
Watching movies.
Did an arty nude phtoshoot.
Rocking a new hairstyle.
Playing with Kari's two pit bulls.
Listening to some rocking music.

Same old same old.

Birthday party is happening on Thursday December 3rd to celebrate my big 2-5! Quarter of a century baby, get ready for some delicious Prohibition style good times. Should be a blast. Getting excited for that.

Been feeling pretty good since I got over that sickness I had last week. Hope everyone is feeling the same. :D Much love!

"But it's the pelvic thrust, that really drives you insaaaaaannnnnnnneee!"

So what could be more fun on Halloween than spending the night in bed? Okay, let's be honest kinda lame but I'm still sick so don't judge too harshly. I made the best of the situation. Joe had never seen The Rocky Horror Picture Show so we watched that after he put on his costume (he was the doctor to my sick patient). I loved it as always, he kinda liked it, I explained most and did a few audience participation things along with the movie, this amused Joe the most. Good times were had by all:

Here some fun fall and Halloween-ish photos from my recent trip back to MI, enjoy!

Good fall, harvesty, Halloween-ish times! Hope yours was just as great. Now that Halloween is over it's just a big countdown to my birthday and Christmastime with the family. SO EXCITED! Let's be honest people, December is the BEST month!!

"So I have to keep his ashes in my room..."

So I'm a sicky again. Fever of 101 today. It seems like every flight back to LA I get some sort of disease. It sucks. And after what was a risiculous week last week I am just pooped and sick and sweaty and gross. Ick.

So I think I'm really gonna get started on writing my tv show about my family and now I have a brilliant idea for a movie script. It might be the most hilarious thing ever but it certainly wasn't when I was experiencing it. I'm excited none the less.

I'm watching The Frighteners and it is still pretty funny and ridiculous. Oh Michael J.Fox and weird FBI guy. *sigh* So silly.

Back to sweating my butt off trying to break this fever-Hope all is well in your world friends.
