So it is a bit behind but here is the finish up of my Month of Gratitude:
-The Polar Express makes me cry every time.
Thankful to still have the Christmas spirit & hear the bells. ;) Day
25 in my Month of Gratitude.
-Today I am grateful for John Hughes and John
Williams helping to create the magic of Home Alone 1 & 2 for my
holidays. I love you gentlemen more than I can say. Thank you for my
still giggling inner 8 year old. Day 26 in my Month of Gratitude.
-Today I am thankful that this day is finally over. That is all. Day 27 in my Month if Gratitude.
-Today I am grateful for caroling! Day 28 in my Month of Gratitude.
-Today I am grateful for Vicodin. And root beer. And good friends & people. Day 29 of my Month of Gratitude.
-Today I am thankful that on 12/1/84 at 1:32AM
EST I was born & that in a few short hours it is officially my
birthday in Michigan. I am 28. It's gonna be a great fucking year. Day
30 in my Month of Gratitude. CHALLENGE OVER! *drops mic*
Then my birthday happened, loads of well wishes on FB, a few texts and calls from family and close pals, only 5 people and their sig. others showed up to Joe & my birthday party which was a big bummer and disappointment since so many people had RSVPed yes (LA people are flakey, even those NOT from LA become flakey :( ), then we saw Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band at the Honda Center-IT WAS AMAZING, EPIC, FAN-DAMN-TASTIC, & Fucking AWESOME! We had the best time ever. Then I saw 2 hilarious shows (The Untold Story of Indie Rock & 227: The Lost Episodes) at Second City Hollywood-go see those ASAP! I worked a charity show at my internship for Toys for Tots which felt great. Then on Sunday we went to our pal's family's tree decorating party. We are the light crew and the village underneath the tree crew-we did another bang up job! So the week made up for the lack of awesome on the bday.
Now we're gearing up to go to MI for the holidays. Oh Christmas such a mixed bag usually. We end up really frustrated due to the fact that we feel torn all over the state. This time we're going back for 2 weeks, I get to meet my new nephew that is due to pop out any second, and we will get equal time with both our families since they are uber excited to see us married. Side note: once you're married other married people treat you differently. It doesn't matter that we've been together 7 years we've been married 2 months so we're adults or something now. So silly.
Hope your holidays are gearing up to be amazing! Lots of love chickens! :D
