"I come from down in the valley, where mister when you're young"

My little sister just introduced me to my new favorite website: modcloth.com
SERIOUSLY check it out. I want everything on that site ever.

So it feels like my stomach is trapped up by my ribcage. My P.T. therapist tried to help "move" it back to it's original position in my body but it is unhappy. So I just feel very twisted up and uncomfortable. My whole abdomen hurts and feels weird on the inside. It makes me most unhappy. She gave me areas on my different lymphatic system to massage to help it feel better but it feels sucky. Really craptastic in fact. Boo. I'm over all this feeling like death stuff my body keeps pulling on me. My back, throat sickness, now my tummy/abdomen. Bunch of crap.

In happier news I am preparing to fly home. I am getting really excited to be in fall weather. To eat cider donuts and drink cider. To just hang out in MI. It's weird but I do miss it. And my brother and his gf are picking me up so you know we're going to Polonia restaurant for delicious Polish foods. And now I can show my family how to make homemade pierogi and dill pickle soup! So delicious!

I think it will be a pretty great week of anticiaption and then next week is just going to be LOVELY. Just the medicine I need. :D

Speaking of medicine, I went to a little bar out in Mar Vista called The Good Hurt where the bartenders dress up as nurses, they have little shots in test tubes called 'transfusions, and on Mondays they have pole dancing. Not like strippper nasty pole dancing, but really cool girls who do it as a sport or go to S Factor classes. It was so friggin amazing. Best time! My pal Jenn organized it and we met up with some mutuals buds and some of her pals that are awesome. Just an all around good time. I highly recommend getting your butt over there on a Monday and check it out!

I guess that does it for now. Take care all. :)

"It's the tallest building in the world, you can't miss that"

So dear friends I am returning to Michigan in one week. October 19-25 I am home for a nice visit. I will be totally free except for a bachelorette party Thursday night (but if you happen to be at the same bar that would be cool), Friday night a rehearsal dinner, and Saturday a friend's wedding. So call me and we'll arrange a get together. I would LOVE to see all of you, especially you guys I haven't seen since high school! Call me and we'll grab a coffee/tea or a bite or a drink. Just let me know. I'm so excited to see all of you! :D

"You still think a varsity letter stands for moron..."

You know what I love? Falling asleep at 11pm and sleeping in until your boss calls you at 9:45am on your day off. Good times. That is the most I've gotten to sleep in awhile though. So delightful. Mmmm.

Poor Joe though, we were supposed to drink champagne and celebrate his exams but I fell asleep before he got home, when he ran to the store, when he got home, I was just so darned tired. And stressed I guess.

Now I've just eaten a big bowl of Boo Berry, ran to work for my boss, and am back home snuggling in bed watching Babs and Bobby in "The Way We Were". Not too shabby, right?

"Unfortunately you're sick and the gun nazis found out..."

Most ridiculously bad yet awesome movie:

So it's official I am uber broke. As in NO MONEY. As in a lot of money on my credit card and no money in the bank. As in my checks barely cover rent and some utilities. Now I am just begging for cash from my folks (which is a bitter pill to swallow) and hoping to get a paying acting gig so I don't have to become a hooker or sell my eggs.

Life isn't all depressing though. Joe passed his PhD Qualifying Exams. YAY! So all he needs to do is hook up with an advisor he loves and publish a thesis and he is done! So hopefully less stress more fun from now on. And now he's thinking it'll be more like 2 years than 3.

Maybe one day I'll be:

with:

and live in:

with this guy:

just kidding, this guy:

and get a "regular job" like this:

OR this:

Basically it'd be pretty sweet. Pretty sweet. *sigh*

"We went up to get a couple of drinks..."

So pretty great weekend.

My friend that I haven't seen since high school came to visit. We had a grand old time. Just catching up and laughing about all the old silliness. She and her hubby may be moving here to LA and just a street over from me. It would be good times, trouble. but good times.

Went to two friends' poetry reading. I was just blown away. Those two girls are so talented and brave it blew my mind. I am in utter awe of their talent.

Went to see Leslie and the Badgers Monday night-SO FREAKING AMAZING! She has this little twang in her voice like Emmy Lou Harris or LeAnn Womack but still it's like a cross of indie country bluesy music. Just awesome. LOVE LOVE LOVE them!

I'm seeing my good friends The Lexingtons perform tonight. They are amazing and everyone should come see them at 9pm Crane's Hollywood Tavern. Do it! Blair and I will be waiting for ya.

Been catching up with lots of DVRed movies. P.S. 'Panic in Needle Park' is crazy depressing. Nice work Pacino. Ha! 'Eagle Eye' was not that great. 'Stepbrothers' was awful. Just so pointless and dumb. I watched another movie this morning but I really don't remember what it was, isn't that terrible? I must have been half asleep or just thought it was really crappy but I do not remember for the life of me what it was. Ah well. EDIT: I remembered it was 'The Happening' which was not so happening. Pretty lame.

So here's the deal...

I'm a little down in the dumps about cash right now. I'm so super broke and going into debt due to all the business with my back. My parents are helping me out so much but I feel so financially constricted right now it's stressing me out big time. Is it wrong to wish for a sugar daddy to make it all better? Because I really do. But I want him to look like this:

not this:

I just feel like I need a bit of magic to help me here. Like a fairy godmother could come and make me get an amazingly well paid acting gig where I can get picked up by a fabulous agent and manager and then get famous and rich and be super talented awesome and win my Oscar. Is that really too much to ask?

I don't think it is.

I don't know what else I can do but try to let it not get me down. But it's just worrisome. I'm doing alright otherwise. I'm just longing to be able to travel to Europe this summer. My sister and I are trying to plan an amazing trip and I need to save money for it BUT with all the aforementioned not having it it's kinda stressing me even more because I am dying to go on this trip. We wanna do 2 weeks here:

and 2 weeks here:

How sweet would that be, right? I'm just going to keep plugging away. I just need to get more determined about getting myself an agent and getting my shit together. That way one day I will be able to pay off all my debt, pay back my parents, buy my castle in Ireland, save a million stray puppies, fund every charity ever, travel everywhere ever, eat delicious food and drink delicious spirits, and win me one of these bad boys:

One day...One day...
